FACULTY PROFILE

The Faculty of Business and Economics (FBE) is designed to nurture professional business through a variety of academically balanced programme to meet the needs of the various economic sectors. The Faculty has evolved from been the Faculty of Business Administration to FBE to take care of the economic component which is a large part of any business. Its programmes of study are dynamic to keep pace with the rapidly evolving environment of business, management, hospitality, tourism and economics itself. The Faculty has qualified and experienced academic staff which is dedicated to providing theoretical and practical knowledge of high standard in a stimulating atmosphere to produce high quality business and management leaders.

GENERAL FACULTY LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Generally, the Faculty nurture professional in business and economics with emphasize to scientific research. It aims at scholarly dissemination of evidence-based and high-impact practices in the areas of business and economics.

Specifically, the faculty is designed:
  • To enable the students to reach their expectations and understand the purpose of them studying business and economics
  • To enable the student, understand key ideas, concept and principles kind of business and economics for management.
  • To enable the student, perform and use various research techniques appropriate to the business and economic research needs of Tanzania business today.
  • To enable the student actively use the internet as a space for study, business and research tool.
